Ezer Mizion

Israel's largest health support organization.
Serving over 720,000 people a year, from cancer patients and families in crisis to stem cell donors worldwide.

Our Story

For more than 40 years, Ezer Mizion has been a lifeline for people facing some of life's hardest moments.

Since 1979, we've stood alongside cancer patients, elderly individuals, Holocaust survivors, people with disabilities, families in crisis, and anyone who needs a hand to hold or a door opened.

We've grown into Israel's largest medical support organization, with more than 30,000 volunteers and a dedicated professional staff that show up every day across 58 service centers nationwide. Together, we assist over 720,000 people a year with medical referrals, equipment loans, hot meals, transportation, emotional support, and more.

We are also home to one of the world's leading bone marrow registries - a resource that has given thousands of patients across the globe a second chance at life.

In 2008, we were honored with the Israel Prize, the country's highest civilian distinction. But the recognition that matters most is in the face of each person who gets a helping hand, each family that doesn't have to face illness alone, each life that continues because someone stepped in to help.

This is our story, and it’s far from over.
