Our story
None of this happens without you. Our professional staff, our tens of thousands of volunteers, our partners and supporters - each one shows up every day with a shared sense of purpose and responsibility. Together, we do what none of us could do alone.
On behalf of everyone at Ezer Mizion, thank you.
Founder and Chairman of "Ezer Mizion"
Israel's largest medical support organization
Since 1979, Ezer Mizion has provided medical support to patients, families, and people of all ages facing illness, disability, or crisis. Today we operate 58 service centers nationwide, assist over 720,000 people a year, and are home to one of the world's leading bone marrow registries. In 2008, we were honored with the Israel Prize, the country's highest civilian distinction.
Here for everyone
Our ambition is simple: anyone who reaches out finds us ready to help. From hot meals in hospital wards and companionship for Holocaust survivors, to navigating bureaucracy, lending medical equipment, and providing emergency transport, our 30,000 volunteers show up every day for people across every community in Israel, in every kind of need.
Rabbi Hanania Chulak
The heartbeat behind Israel's largest medical support organization. For more than four decades, Rabbi Chulek has guided Ezer Mizion's growth from a single act of kindness into a nationwide network of care.
Haim Freund
Haim leads Ezer Mizion's day-to-day operations and long-term strategy, overseeing development, HR, and partnerships across the organization.
Dr. Bracha Zisser
Founder and director of one of the world's largest Jewish bone marrow registries, and founder of Oranit House, which provides residential support for cancer patients and their families during treatment.
Prof. Itzhak Yaniv
One of Israel's leading specialists in hematology and pediatric oncology, providing medical oversight and ensuring clinical and scientific excellence across all of Ezer Mizion's programs.
